Very dodgy. I was evicted from their accommodation due to noise complaints despite the fact that most of the noise came from other apartments and a few people who I met actually told me they thought the noise was coming from my apartment but when they got upstairs it was quiet. I tried to tell the director all of this and that I intended to fight the eviction and he pretty much said “that’s your business. That’s not our problem”. What’s even worse is that there was no clear date set for the eviction. They just woke me up one day and told me it was time to leave and they just crammed whatever could fit in the car and they just dumped me in this dump and just said “here’s your house, here’s your keys. See you later.” Then they just left me to my own devices. Like I wasn’t their problem anymore. They couldn’t get rid of me quick enough. When I got here I found the fridge was broken, the previous tenants left some rotten meat in the freezer that smelled so bad that I almost threw up and to top it all off I found some garbage bags in the backyard that I had to take out. I had to take out someone else’s trash! I also found an empty cigarette box in the storage room and cigarette butts in the lougeroom and even a pair of women’s pj shorts in the spare room and some drawing on the wall in the other room. I actually felt like I was moving in to someone else’s house. It was enables responsibility to make sure that I was properly handed over to the new provider. They haven’t even arranged my food shopping or anything. It was a case of “you’re no longer our client so you’re not our problem anymore”. We’ll see about that.

When my usual carer went on holidays, The Careside provided me with a carer who’s name is kiarra. She fulfilled all my duties and expectations to a level that was above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend this service to people I know as it employs carers who have my best interest at heart and supports my needs when it comes to the level of care that I require

My mother has attended Shine for approximately two years on a regular basis and I cannot speak highly enough of their care, respect and kindness to her. She often comments on returning from a day at Shine how wonderful the Staff are to her. Their outings and activities are varied and help with my mothers cognitive abilities. An excellent Centre for superior care.

Again this service provider has let my Mother down by not showing up to care for her when she needs help with everything except feeding herself. I came home once again to find her in soiled bed, hungry and cold. Mom is not in good health and needs regular care. When I reported this I was given an apology and told at 5pm last night that by the way" We have nobody to care for her tomorrow and Friday... "Sorry!" I am at work and she has no one else to help her! I just asked for an update now.... and the text said..."Unfortunately we do not have resources for todays service and scheduling are still working on tomorrow!" I still have no idea what happened yesterday as no one will answer me! I am going to have to source resources myself and this might be quoting my job... again to pick up where this company fails! I am also going to investigate further with many misconducts in the past that they have tried to rectify but have continued to fail! What will it take a death someone notices? If anyone else is suffering with their family like I am

The admin department is a shambles. They dont let you know of changes. They think they are doing you afavour.

Beautiful place with beautiful staff. Mum is so happy and she is loved and cared for as good as we were caring for her. Can't find a fault.

Manager , RNs , staffs and carers all are so good and have a helping and guiding nature. I was here for work placement. Residents are also lovely.

I wonder if it's the same receptionist that was there over 4 years ago when my mum was there...she was one of the most uncaring rude people I have ever met. Still-what goes around comes around. I hope so anyway. Other than her it was great.

Lovely organization

Great staff, beautiful setting. Food cooked on premises, respite available. Plenty of activities starting up again. Highly recommend
