When my usual carer went on holidays, The Careside provided me with a carer who’s name is kiarra. She fulfilled all my duties and expectations to a level that was above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend this service to people I know as it employs carers who have my best interest at heart and supports my needs when it comes to the level of care that I require

Terrible experience with Careside!!!You think there cheap but in the end they cost you more due to carers not turning up and they still seem to be paid.Carers are very unreliable and cancel at the last minute.I contacted the office and left messages for return calls to adjust mums statement but no reply.Such a waste of ACAT money!!Be aware. You need to give them 7days notice but you only receive your roster the Friday afternoon before your roster starts the following week so if you need to cancel for any reason it’s too late!! You will be charged.When I asked to have the roster the week before was told it was not possible.REPLY TO MY EMAIL!!!1. Mum was only between 2 homes which changed weekly.2. I am happy for your accounts department to contact me as I have already left messages for them to call me. Still no answer!

I have found the staff members at the Careside very kind and efficient. They hire staff that have the ability to provide the services that suits my needs when it comes to cleaning my home. A young lady who cleans my home every week comes early and understands my needs. When somebody cannot attend my shift, the staff management at this organisation are quick to find a carer who can attend my weekly appointments

Always kind, caring, client centred care. Having a management team who are all nurses makes a big difference. The carers are all dedicated to their clients needs. A well deserved 5 stars.

I am a carer in the Brisbane branch of The Careside. This is my 3rd Aged Care provider I have worked for and it is the best. I have my regular clients and the clients are happy to not be sent someone new each time. Management regularly check with me that I am ok and have no concerns. Schedulers check with me first if I can accept another client, unlike my previous employers that would just keep adding more and more clients until I felt overwhelmed. I feel valued as an employee and my clients feel like family.

I am happy with the services of Careside. I have no complaints at all. They respond Immediately to my requests. And Dearie, my carer gives me the best care. Especially the food she cooks for me. She is very hard-working. She's worth the money that Careside is paying her. I want her to be my permanent carer. Thank you Careside.

ZERO STARS! Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Quality STANDARD 1 - Consumer dignity and choice - The provider is NON-COMPLIANT!If you can't get the most basic of care right, get out the industry!

Careside are currently charged with caring for my brother who has (now) advanced MND and have been for over 12 months now.My brothers condition could only be described as difficult to care for.In my opinion, Careside are currently doing a very good job, given the little amount of overall funding allocated for the all important task at hand, which in turn limits the amount of hours care can be provided.Care company’s are severely limited to provide care within the sphere of allocated funding. This in turn presents with the challenge of providing a level of care that’s both prudent (within the funding sphere) and to a standard that is acceptable toward the patient & their siblings.We have had some areas of difficulty throughout my brothers care journey with Careside, but can say when those difficulties were made known, Careside came out & sat with us in order to resolve those difficulties.I/we were very happy with the results from that sit down as Careside administrators actioned our concerns on those difficulties immediately.So overall my brother and us (the family) are happy with the level and quality of care that has been and still is being provided by Careside at this point in time.It may well be worth mentioning that a carer called Elio is a wonderful career for my brother when he is at the home.Elio is hard working and displays professionalism & empathy as he goes about his difficult task when caring for my brother.Thank you Careside.Primary career and patients brother,Patrick.

Hi just wanted to say that since we have had Emmeline as our coordinator our life has changed for the better, she has bent over backwards to help us achieve the support dad needs to stay independent living in his own home! At the start we had no support from careside for along time, his coordinators would would not even return emails or phone calls, so thank goodness Emmeline has come to the rescue, because of her i would hightly recommend Careside!!!
